SELANGOR, 22 MAY 2026 - Low Yat Group, through Bandar Tasik Puteri (BTP), demonstrated its support for Selayang's development aspirations as a main sponsor of the Selayangku Sayang: Bandaraya Pintar 2030 coffee table book.

Organised by Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPS), the launch was officiated by Selangor Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari on 22 May 2026 at Grandeur Beling Glasshall, Sungai Buloh.
The event highlighted Selayang’s aspiration to achieve city status by 2030, with an emphasis on integrated planning, sustainable development and a more coordinated approach to future growth. These aspirations reflect the importance of creating a well-planned urban environment supported by appropriate infrastructure, amenities and economic opportunities.
The vision aligns with Low Yat Group’s own development philosophy, particularly in creating well-planned townships that support quality living and community well-being. Located within the MPS administrative area, Bandar Tasik Puteri is an established township in Rawang spanning approximately 2,670 acres, bringing together residential neighbourhoods, commercial areas, educational facilities and recreational amenities.
Selayang and Rawang’s strategic locations, with connectivity to surrounding areas including Gombak, also present opportunities for further growth and economic development. The region’s evolving industrial landscape, including the automotive and electric vehicle sectors, highlights its potential for future growth.
Backed by decades of experience across property development, hospitality, retail, and industrial sectors, Low Yat Group continues to strengthen its presence through developments that focus on functionality, long-term value, and sustainable growth.
Through Bandar Tasik Puteri, Low Yat Group continues to focus on developing a well-connected and vibrant township that caters to the needs of its residents and the wider community. The Group’s emphasis on responsible and sustainable township development complements Selayang’s broader aspirations for a smarter and more integrated future.
